May 14, 2026: Isaiah 59:20 - Jesus Christ is the True Redeemer and Deliverer of Israel

“And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.” - Isaiah 59:20

As I wrote the holy words above from the word of God on April 22, 2026, I am left speechless after I just read about blasphemous signs that were just put up in Israel, in both Jerusalem, God’s holy city, and in Tel Aviv, by the “Friends of Zion Heritage Center.” The signs have a picture of USA President Donald J. Trump standing, with his hands clasped, next to flags of Israel and the USA, and next to him in a very large font and in all capital letters are the words: “THE DELIVERER.” To say this is blasphemous against Almighty God is a massive understatement! Let us read about this group from an article from Newsrael: (Source: https://www.newsrael.com/posts/cpp88h6dw97)

“The campaign, initiated by Friends of Zion founder Mike Evans, is being rolled out ahead of Israel’s 78th Independence Day amid a ceasefire and ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, Friends of Zion said in a press release on Tuesday.”

“Billboards have been placed at major intersections and central routes in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, according to the organization. The initiative is intended to express appreciation for Trump’s support of Israel, particularly during the current conflict with Iran, it said.”

The article goes on to say that Mike Evans is an “evangelical leader” who is a long-time supporter of Israel. Whether you are a Jew or a Gentile, if you are remotely familiar with the Old and New Testaments, you would know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the title of “Deliverer” is something reserved only for God. If you truly are a friend of Zion, you would never, ever consider equating a mere man to the true Deliverer of Israel. Only Jesus can provide salvation to Israel; not Donald Trump nor anyone else.

“US President Donald Trump was awarded the Israel Prize, the country’s highest honor, at the annual Independence Day ceremony in Jerusalem on Wednesday.”

In my lifetime, I have never seen Israel so enamored with a US President, or any other world leader for that matter, such as it is with Donald Trump. Israel is being willfully deceived and misled by a man who nearly puts himself on the same level as God and who surrounds himself with lying false prophets in American “churches” that are truly dens of the Devil. Donald Trump also surrounds himself with rabbis that are making false prophecies that are centered around him and Israel. Contrary to what Mike Evans and the Friends of Zion may believe, only God Himself can deliver Israel, and that will only happen when Jesus Christ, who is God manifest in the flesh, returns to earth at His second coming after the coming time of Jacob’s trouble.

Let us put away the blasphemous words of this pretend Christian and read what the word of God says about the Deliverer. First, let us read what is written in 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles that quote psalms written by King David:

“And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; the God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn [strength] of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.” (2 Samuel 22:1-4)

“Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols [worthless things]: but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” (1 Chronicles 16:23-29)

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.” (1 Chronicles 16:34-36)

Oh, but to whom do we see Israel, and America as well, giving glory? Is it God? No! They are giving glory to Donald Trump, who has become an idol to many people in these two countries. Donald Trump cannot save Israel, only God can save Israel. This example of idolatry is why Israel must go through its coming time of Jacob’s Trouble, as written in Jeremiah 30:7, because it is not trusting in God to save them. Nearly 2,000 years ago, when God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save Israel from its sin, because they could not keep the Law, Israel as a nation rejected Him, just as they continue to do to this day. Instead of turning to the true God, they have turned to one they have made a false god. I believe Israel will soon confirm a covenant with him, and that will begin their time of trouble.

Let us read more Scriptures regarding the Deliverer, also called the Redeemer, of Israel, who is Jesus the Christ, God manifest in the flesh:

“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed [proclaimed], when there was no strange [foreign] god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let [reverse] it?” (Isaiah 43:10-13)

“In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul [life] from deceit [oppression] and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.” (Psalm 72:7-14)

“His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.” (Psalm 72:17-19)

“And she [Jesus’ mother, Mary] shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS [Saviour]: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)

While Donald Trump likes to refer to himself as the “President of Peace,” as well as some in his administration, in fact, he has done the complete opposite during his second administration. While he and those he surrounds himself with may believe the lies, I can tell you that I certainly do not believe them. He stands in complete contrast to Jesus Christ, who IS the only One who will bring peace to the world, and He will do it in His righteousness. In fact, one of His names is “The Prince of Peace”:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Let us continue reading more Scriptures that describe the true Deliverer of Israel:

“Blessed be the LORD my strength [rock], which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight [battle]: my goodness [lovingkindness], and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account [think] of him! Man is like to vanity [a breath]: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.” (Psalm 144:1-4)

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off [destroy] the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:15-17)

“But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying [do not delay], O my God.” (Psalm 40:17)

King David wrote quite a few songs about God delivering him, saving him. Even this great king had to be humbled and brought low after he committed adultery with a married woman who was named Bathsheba, and had gotten her pregnant. Trying to cover up his sins, David had her husband, Uriah, who was a warrior in battle, sent to the frontline of the battle, knowing that he would be killed. David wrote some beautiful psalms after he realized that he had sinned against God, and he turned back to Him. It takes a man of God to do this, to realize that he had sinned and to ask God to forgive him. Contrast King David to Donald Trump, with Trump publicly stating that he has never asked God for forgiveness of his sins. Let us read in the psalm below how a true man of God, King David, repented and turned back to God after he sinned:

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified [be found just] when thou speakest, and be clear [blameless] when thou judgest. Behold, I was shaken [brought forth] in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right [steadfast] spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free [generous] spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.” (Psalm 51)

The words of King David above are the words of a true repentant sinner and one who fully trusted in God to forgive him and to save him.

Even though the people in Israel did not create and put up these signs in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv that proclaimed Donald Trump as ‘DELIVERER,” they allowed it to happen. I ask the people of Israel: Is Donald Trump greater than King David in that he does not need to acknowledge his sins against God? Is he greater than God and has now become your Deliverer? Why were not these signs torn down? Do you not remember, the days of old, when righteous men tore down the altars of the false gods to prevent people from worshipping them?

Let us read God’s words of warnings to Israel that they must not worship false gods. He spoke these words to them after He led them, through Moses, out of bondage in Egypt and before He brought them into the Promised Land. We must remember that God was giving to Israel the land of sinful and corrupt nations gave the nations that were in the land. God had given those nations 430 years to turn away from their sins, but they did not. Thus, God sent the people of Israel to destroy them and take as their land the land that God was giving them. Before they took the land, God warned Israel not to worship false gods, and He told them to go into their land and tear down their altars of false god worship:

“And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” (Exodus 20:1-6)

“When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hives, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; and when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. For thou art an holy [set apart] people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people [treasure] unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: but because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 7:1-8)

“And ye shall overthrow [destroy] their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew [cut] down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 12:2-4)

“When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest [displace] them, and dwellest in their land; take heed to thyself that thou not be snared [ensnared] by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not thereto, nor diminish [take away] from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:29-32)

Let us read instances of when King Josiah, one of the few righteous kings of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, when Israel was divided into the Northern and Southern Kingdoms, tore down the altars of false god worship:

“Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither [did not turn aside] to the right hand, nor to the left. For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places [places for pagan worship], and the groves [wooden images], and the carved images, and the molten images. And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images [incense altars], that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves [wooden images], and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and stroked it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them. And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks [axes, swords] round about. And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.” (2 Chronicles 34:1-7)

King Hezekiah, another King of Judah, also tore down the places of false god worship:

“Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Abi [Abijah], the daughter of Zachariah. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did. And he removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brazen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan [A Bronze Thing]. He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. For he clave [held fast] to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.” (2 Kings 18:1-6)

God has warned His people, Israel, repeatedly not to worship false gods, whether it be a man-made god/image or whether it be anyone or anything other than Him, but many are doing exactly that because they have put Donald Trump on a high altar and are worshipping him. The same is true for Mike Evans, who claims to be a friend of Zion, and all who listen to his lies. God has repeatedly stated in His word that there is only one Deliverer of Israel, and His name is Jesus Christ:

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame [news] of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias [Greek name for Isaiah]. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised [oppressed], to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister [attendant], and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears [hearing].” (Luke 4:14-21)

I pray that the people of Israel and those in America and around the world who listen to Mike Evans, who at the least is a deceiver, that they would heed the word of God:

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try [test] the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already it is in the world.” (1 John 4:1-3)

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, you privily shall bring in damnable [destructive] heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious [destructive] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of [blasphemed]. And through covetousness shall they with feigned [deceptive] words make merchandise of [exploit] you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not [has not been idle], and their damnation [destruction] slumbereth not.” (2 Peter 2:1-3)

“These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist [gloom] of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity [emptiness], they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness [licentiousness; lacking legal or moral restraints, especially disregarding sexual restraints], those that were clean [indeed] escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned [returns] to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:17-22)

Sadly, this is not the first time that someone has made a comparison of Donald Trump to Jesus, Israel’s true Messiah. On February 26, 2024, the Israel Heritage Foundation presented to Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago an award, a menorah, because of his efforts in normalizing relations with Israel and its neighbors via the Abraham Accords. “‘This menorah, which represents the eternal light of the world, is presented to President Donald J. Trump in honor and celebration of doing what no other man has ever done and that is to make peace between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan in the extraordinary Abraham Accords,’ reads a plaque on the menorah’s base.”

While I could find no Israeli or American news outlet that reported what was also engraved on the base of the award, it was reported by others: (Source: https://antichrist45.com/the-prince-of-peace-donald-j-trump/)

“The Israel Heritage Foundation with profound gratitude presents this Covenant of Peace Award to the Prince of Peace President Donald J. Trump.”

Here we have another blasphemous act of giving Donald Trump a name that belongs only to Jesus Christ, “Prince of Peace.” Leo Hohmann also noticed this and pointed it out in his article dated February 26, 2026 titled “Is Donald Trump a ‘Prince of Peace’ or a usurper?” (Source: https://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=323734) In his article, he commented about this noticeable absence in the media:

“Interestingly, the only publication I could find online that reported the entire text of the inscription on the menorah presented to Trump was on a website run by Marica Micallef, a Christian woman living in Malta, although I did see reference to it in a few video presentations. All of the Jewish news sites as well as American conservative news sites like Breitbart quoted the inscription but stopped short of the ending where it describes Trump as the Prince of Peace. Clearly, they knew that bit of information would set off a firestorm among the many Trump supporters who are Christians and they withheld it from their audiences.”

Also, notice the Biblical language in the usage of the phrase “Covenant of Peace.” This is not merely something political happening with Israel; no, it is far deeper than that, it is Biblical. However, as God, through the apostle Paul, tells us in His word in Romans 11:25, Israel is blinded in part:

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits [opinion]; that blindness [hardening] in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” (Romans 11:25)

Only God Himself, not Donald Trump, not Israel, nor anyone else can make a Covenant of Peace with Israel:

“Moreover I will make [cut] a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle [dwelling place] also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.” (Ezekiel 37:26-28)

And yet another award was presented by Israel to Donald Trump by the Israel Heritage Foundation, which was the Crown of Jerusalem award, given to him on July 16, 2023. (Source: https://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/jns/israel-heritage-foundation-awards-trump-crown-of-jerusalem/article_f5860931-f99e-5bd7-8950-128074d26925.html) I have to say that this giving of the Crown of Jerusalem to Donald Trump draws an eerie parallel to what is written in the book of Revelation when Jesus Christ opens the first of the seven seals on the scroll:

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise [sound] of thunders, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation 6:1)

I do not think that it is just coincidence that a crown was given to Donald Trump and subsequently, in his second administration, he has “went forth conquering, and to conquer.” For a man who likes to declare himself as the “President of Peace,” he sure does like to attack and conquer other nations, including Venezuela, and now Iran is in the works, while he has made threats against Greenland, Cuba, Canada, and other countries. Wikipedia has a good article about this titled “American expansionism under Donald Trump.” (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_expansionism_under_Donald_Trump) As noted in the article:

“Trump's determination to treat the Western Hemisphere as a U.S. sphere of influence has been characterized as a revival of the Monroe Doctrine in what has become known as the Donroe Doctrine.”

Beyond the shadow of a doubt, Donald Trump is not satisfied with just being President of the USA but seeks to conquer and control other nations. I believe his true intent and desire is to conquer all nations because he thrives on power, greed, and on those who lavishly throw their support on him, boasting his already bursting-at-the-seams ego. Nothing will ever be enough for Donald Trump, and I believe that includes ruling the world. Like a drug addict that needs his next hit in order to feed his addiction, Donald Trump needs to conquer and/or disrupt nations in order to feed his addiction to power.

Returning to the discussion of the various awards that Israel has given to Donald Trump, I certainly have no issue with them doing so, as well as allowing, and likely participating in the posting of signs about him in their nation. However, what I have grave concerns with is how those awards and signs are referring to Donald Trump, which is putting Trump on a level that is equal with God Himself. That is truly blasphemy! This reminds me of what Jesus said to the Jews when they persecuted Him:

“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” (Jesus Christ; John 5:43)

It isn’t just Israel and the American evangelical community that is putting Donald Trump on the same level as God, but Trump himself is doing the same thing. Just recently on April 13, 2026, he posted on his Truth Social account an AI-generated image of himself that portrayed him as Jesus healing a sick man. (Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-posts-ai-image-jesus-christ/) In the image, Trump is wearing a white robe with a red sash, where beams of light appeared in the sky behind him. On his left side are a soldier and a nurse lovingly gazing upon Trump with looks of admiration on their faces. Trump’s right hand is touching an ill man, with more beams of light emanating from the man’s forehead. To the right of Trump is a woman praying next to the ill man’s bedside and an older man behind her, perhaps a military veteran. Also included in the image behind Donald Trump are the iconic images of America, including two bald eagles, the American flag, the Statue of Liberty, fighter jets, and two buildings, one which may be the Lincoln Memorial. In the center of the sky right above the image of Trump is something very odd. There appear to be four military men in combat gear, and in the middle of them is some sort of demonic-looking image, with three horns on its heads and two wings. It appears to be wearing military/combat gear. Why was this odd demonic image included? Is there some sort of secret/hidden meaning to it? I believe there is. I believe it is showing us the god that Donald Trump truly worships, and it is not the God of Israel, Jesus the Christ, but it is Satan, also called Lucifer. If you look at a statue or image of Baphomet, which is the Satanic idol, I think it looks similar to the image in Trump’s post, having what appears as three horns and wings. The face is hard to see in Trump’s post, but the Baphomet has the face of a goat. This reminds me of when Donald Trump’s oldest son, Donald J. Trump, Jr., posted an AI-image of his dad looking into a mirror and the reflection was that of a goat. I believe the meaning is to show us which god Donald Trump worships, and I believe that god to be Satan.

Newsweek and Mediaite noted the differences in the AI-generated image that Trump posted that depicted himself as Jesus to a very similar image that a fan of MAGA had previously posted, specifically noting how the demonic figure had replaced one or more of the previously included soldiers. Donald Trump faced widespread criticism of his post, and he removed it. When asked why he posted it and whom was he supposed to be portraying, he said it was a portrayal of himself as a doctor appearing next to a Red Cross Worker. (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c17v8y0z9z2o)

Not letting the backlash stop him, Donald Trump continued posting AI-generated images of himself, and just mere days later, he posted an image with Jesus hugging him and seeming to console him, where they both have solemn looks on their faces, as if saying to Trump something like, “It’s okay, they hated Me too.” (Source: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-jesus-photo-backlash-ai-b2958240.html)

I want to dig deeper into this image that Trump posted. As we consider the image, it reminds me of descriptions in the book of Daniel that prophesied of the first abomination of desolation that was committed in the Jewish Temple by Antiochus IV Epiphanes, referred to as the “King of the North” in Daniel chapter 11. This first act of the abomination of desolation is given to us as a foreshadowing of what the final antichrist will do during the midpoint of the time of Jacob’s trouble. Jesus Christ speaks of this coming second act of the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24:15. Daniel chapter 11 describes Epiphanes in a manner that very much reminds me of the character and personality of Donald J. Trump. Let us take a moment to discuss the verses that I believe relate to Donald Trump’s post depicting himself as Jesus. Before doing so, I must admit that Daniel chapter 11 is very difficult to understand. However, I believe that as more things are revealed with the passing of time as we get closer to the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble and Jesus’ second coming, we will better understand this chapter. I do believe that it contains dual-fulfillment prophecies, with the first already having been fulfilled by Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who is a picture of the coming final antichrist, and the second fulfillment is yet to be fulfilled. Now, let us read some of Daniel chapter 11:

“And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in [arise] peaceably [by prosperity], and obtain [seize] the kingdom by flatteries [intrigue].” (Daniel 11:21)

Did not Donald Trump, whom many, myself included, believe to be this vile person that Daniel spoke of, come to power in America by promising to return America to prosperity, which is why his campaign slogan was “Make America Great Again”? Donald Trump came not as a typical politician, with political roots and experience; no, he was a business man who rose to power. He hosted a TV show called “The Apprentice,” and he is the author of a memoir book called “The Art of the Deal.” I do not believe that any of this is coincidence. Who better than Donald J. Trump to confirm a covenant with Israel that will start the time of Jacob’s trouble? That truly would not only be the “deal of the century” but the “deal of the age,” and which I believe will bring us to the end of human history as we know it and will culminate in the second coming of Jesus Christ.

In his 2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential campaigns, Donald Trump allied himself with evangelicals who call themselves Christians. He obtained the presidency - or kingdom - by flattering or intriguing his evangelical base. It is no coincidence that in Daniel 11:21 for the word “flatteries,” in the Hebrew the word is “chalaqlaqqoth” and it is defined as: (Source: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/2519.htm):

Oh, doesn’t this sound just like Satan’s deceptive schemes to use flattery to deceive and lead people straight to hell? I must admit that I voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 and 2020 elections until my eyes were opened to the truth of who he really is and what he stands for: the complete opposite of what Jesus teaches. Many of the professing Christians who elected him into office are still standing by their man, no matter how many times he shows them that he clearly is not a person who has been saved by putting his faith and trust in Jesus Christ to save him, even having said that he doesn’t even feel the need to ask God for forgiveness. They truly are standing by a vile and deceptive man, while proclaiming the blessings of Jesus upon America, a country that has chosen to follow a false Christ, who very well may be the antichrist. Not only did Donald Trump rise to power by flattering and pandering to his evangelical base in America, he also has come to an alliance with Israel, particularly with its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. While Trump has done some good things for Israel, I believe that he will turn against Israel, and the Iranian war that America and Israel are currently fighting may well be the catalyst. As pressure from the American people on Trump increases because of increasing inflation directly related to the war, will it result in him turning against Netanyahu, who many believed dragged Trump and the USA into a war that Netanyahu wanted to be fought and thought would be easily won? Time will tell.

Let us return to Daniel 11, and read verse 22:

“And with the arms [Force] of a flood shall they be overflown [swept away] from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.” (Daniel 11:22)

I do not know with certainty what this means, although I believe it may relate to what is described in chapter 12 of the book of Revelation that describes the woman, who is the remnant of Israel, fleeing for their lives to the wilderness. I believe those in Israel who remain steadfast in their support of Trump will be swept away, meaning killed, but the remnant will flee and survive. In Matthew 24:16, Jesus said this will happen after the antichrist commits the abomination of desolation in the Jewish Temple, that I believe will be built sometime in the not too distance future. When the abomination of desolation happens, it begins the last half of Israel’s 70th week, known as the Great Tribulation. Revelation 12 speaks of the dragon, meaning Satan, sending a flood of persecution upon Israel:

“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [male] child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth [enraged] with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed [rest of her offspring], which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation 12:13-17)

I do not know what is meant by the words “yea, also the prince of the covenant,” from Daniel 11:22 above, but it may be referring to the person in Israel who will confirm the covenant with the antichrist. This could be Benjamin Netanyahu, as he was the one who signed the Abraham Accords on September 15, 2020. There are many who believe, myself included, that the confirmation of the covenant Daniel wrote about in Daniel 9:27, where “confirm” means to “strengthen,” may very well be the expansion of the existing Abraham Accords. Daniel 11:22 may mean that when the antichrist commits the abomination of desolation, not only will Israel swept away by the persecution of the antichrist, but also this prince of the covenant.

There are a couple of other things I want to mention about the wording used in Daniel 11:21-22. The first is in verse 21 where it says “and obtain [seize] the kingdom by flatteries [intrigue].” I believe the “kingdom” that is being discussed is Israel, and that Donald Trump has already obtained or seized Israel by how he has aligned himself with Israel and Netanyahu and by the significant amount of influence and control he has over them. However, once he commits the abomination of desolation, and yes, I am saying that I believe Trump is the antichrist, showing Israel his true colors and turns against them, he will seize Israel by force, taking control of it. Secondly, in verse 22 where it says “shall they be overflown [swept away] from before him, and shall be broken,” it is very interesting to me how the word “broken” is defined in Hebrew: (Source: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/7665.htm)

“break down, off, in pieces, up, brokenhearted, bring to the birth, crush, destroy,”

There IS a birth coming, and that is the birth of a Jewish nation of believers in their true Messiah and Deliverer - Jesus Christ - where that nation is Israel, also called Zion. This is not the Israel that was reborn on May 14, 1948 because there is a clue as to the timing of when this nation of Zion will be reborn, and we find that clue in Isaiah 66. Before reading about that, let us read what God says will happen to those who trust in His Son Jesus Christ and to those who reject Him. I believe that God is speaking specifically to the Jews who will finally turn to Jesus Christ, their prophesied Messiah, sometime during the tribulation period and who will be the surviving remnant of Israel that will be saved. I believe the usage of “they” and “them” in the Scriptures below represent the Christ-rejecting Jews who hate their fellow Jews who will turn to Jesus in belief in Him as their Messiah, who are addressed by God as “you” and “your”:

“I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. A voice [sound] of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompense to [fully repays] his enemies.” (Isaiah 66:4-6)

Now, let us read about this clue of the timing of the birth of this nation:

“Before she travailed, she brought forth; [gave birth]; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth [give birth] in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth [time of birth], and not cause to bring forth [delivery]? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. (Isaiah 66:7-10)

I have written about this before in prior devotionals, but you have to read the words above slowly and clearly. There are two births being discussed here. The first happens before Israel travails, meaning before Israel goes through her coming time of trouble, also called the tribulation period. God tells us that before Israel travails, she gave birth to a male child, and that is Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. Then, after Israel has travailed, meaning at the end of their time of trouble, when Jesus Christ returns at His second coming, He will gather His elect, the saved of Israel, and that is when this birth of a nation at once happens. All believers in Jesus Christ will be part of this nation, and will be children of God.

Now, let us continue reading from Daniel chapter 11:

“And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and become strong with a small [small number of] people.” (Daniel 11:23)

The word “league” above in Hebrew is “chabar” and means “To join, unite, bind together, ally.” (Source: https://biblehub.com/hebrew/2266.htm) I do not know with certainty if “the league” is the confirmation of the covenant with many by the antichrist, but it may be, and afterwards, antichrist aligns himself with the ten horns/kings as described in the book of Revelation 17:12-13, 16-17. It very well could be that group of people that is being referred to here as a small number of people.

I encourage you to read Daniel 11:24-30 for yourself. I do not fully understand what is meant by those verses, but I suspect that as time goes by and more of the secret meanings are revealed, we will get a better understanding. Those Scriptures discuss the antichrist, also called the king of the north, coming against the king of the south. In the first fulfillment, Antiochus IV Epiphanes was the king of the north, and the king of Egypt was the king of the south. I do not know who will represent the king of the south and if everything written in those Scriptures will have a second fulfillment. However, I believe that the character and personality of the king of the north written in the Scriptures provide us with a foreshadowing of what the antichrist will be like.

As we recall Donald Trump’s AI image portraying himself as Jesus, with the demonic-looking figure in the heavens behind him, let us take a moment to read some more verses in Daniel chapter 11 that I believe relate to Trump’s post. These verses are referring to the king of the north, whom I believe will also be the antichrist:

“And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous [unusual] things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God [gods] of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: [a god of fortresses]: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds [against the strongest fortresses] with a strange [foreign] god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain [profit].” (Daniel 11:36-39)

I want to discuss a few of the points made in the verses above. First, we see that the king of the north/antichrist will be extremely prideful and arrogant; basically, he will love himself above everything and everyone. His love of self will mean more than any relationship with any woman he could ever have. His pride, his self-exultation will be the drug that feeds his ravenous appetite. He will crave attention and praise from people. Like an air pump that pumps air into a tire, the admiration from his adoring and spiritually lost fans will inflate his ego, even more and more. Does that sound like anyone you know in our world today? Never before, have I seen a more puffed-up, prideful, arrogant, and frankly, rather disgusting, president of America than the one who now holds that office. He is absolutely in love with himself and can’t stop posting, talking, and bragging about himself. He surrounds himself with fake Christians who are the main reason why he was elected twice.

Some of these MAGA fake Christians who call themselves “pastors” just fed Trump’s ego yet again in a stunning and repulsive way. On May 1, 2026, a 15-foot, 22-foot if you count the pedestal, gold-leafed statue of Donald Trump, with his clenched right fist held high in the air, titled “Don Colossus,” was unveiled at the Trump National Doral Miami golf course. The statue represents Trump’s reaction after an assassination attempt was made on him, if you believe what mainstream media feeds the masses, in Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. (Source: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/golf/2026/05/01/trump-national-doral-miami-golden-trump-statue/89887376007/) Surrounding the idol - I mean statue - was a group of professing pastors who came for the dedication ceremony that was led by Mark Burns, a member of “Pastors for Trump,” who stated, “Let me be clear: this is not a golden calf.” (Source: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-gold-statue-golf-course-pastor-b2972303.html) I ask Mr. Burns and all the “pastors” who attended the ceremony: why do you feel the need to declare that the statue is not a golden calf? Are you feeling convicted? I certainly hope so, and that you turn away from your worship of a false god and turn to Jesus Christ with your whole heart before you spend your eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone. I also recommend that you heed the words of God written in the Holy Bible:

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down [worship] thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting [punishing] the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” (Exodus 20:3-6)

“And I [John the apostle] fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:10)

“And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings [words] of this book: worship God.” (Revelation 22:8-9)

If Donald Trump truly is a believer in Jesus Christ and is saved by putting his faith and trust in Him alone to save him, then he would not have allowed this type of ceremony to take place, and certainly would not have advocated or even allowed the making of a golden statue in his image because it gives the appearance of worshipping someone other than God. For those who know their Old Testament Scriptures, it also brings to mind the statue that Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, had made of himself and required every single person to worship it. While Trump is not requiring people to worship his image, I believe that it is soon coming, when the coming false prophet arrives on the scene and will require every single person to take the mark/name/number of the beast/antichrist and worship the image of the beast/antichrist, as is written in Revelation 13:8, 11-18.

I believe that the god of forces/fortresses that is mentioned in Daniel 11:38 is Satan himself, and I believe that it is he who is represented in the AI image that Trump posted, portraying himself as Jesus. I believe that Trump honors his god in both his office as President of America, and also in at least one of his homes, his penthouse apartment in Trump Tower located in none other than New York City, that is gaudily laden with 24-karat gold and marble. But wait, there’s more, lest we forget that Donald Trump removed the East Wing of the White House in order to construct a grand, golden ballroom. (Source: https://abcnews.com/Politics/trump-white-house-ballroom-after-officials/story?id=126843455) It is no coincidence that Trump is obsessed with gold, as he tells Americans that America is in its “Golden Age.” (Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/atlanta/news/trump-declares-golden-age-of-america-in-second-state-of-the-union-as-controversy-tariffs-and-epstein-fallout-swirl/) I agree with an article by Politico that the only Americans who are experiencing a “Golden Age” are those who are the wealthiest in America, while the average American is seeing sky-high inflation, with rent, gas, and food prices soaring to all time highs. In the last part of Daniel 11:36-39, it says “and shall divide the land for gain [profit].” At a minimum, I believe this includes the war-torn Gaza Strip that has been nearly completely reduced to rubble after the start of the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel by Hamas. As I have said previously, I believe there is more to the events that transpired on that day than we are being told. I want to remind us of an AI-generated video that Trump posted back on February 25, 2025 on his Truth Social account titled “Trump Gaza.” (Source: https://www.npr.org/2025/02/26/nx-s1-5309695/trump-gaza-video). The video shows the current state of Gaza, with all its brokenness and rubble, to a future state of a glitzy and modern Gaza called “Trump Gaza.” This new Gaza is complete with eerily-shaped skyscrapers seen towering on the shoreline of the Mediterranean Sea, with yachts in the water. The video also shows nightclubs with Trump dancing with an unknown woman, money falling from the sky, and a towering golden statue of Donald Trump in the middle of a shopping district that sells miniature golden statues of Trump. The video ends with Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu relaxing on the beach sipping cocktails. “The visuals are accompanied by a thumping dance track featuring the lyrics ‘Donald Trump will set you free, bringing the life for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here.’”

I believe Trump and Netanyahu’s intentions are clear, and that is to take the land of Israel, which includes the Gaza Strip, and divide it for their gain, for their profit. Further, I want to point out in the quoted lyrics above from the Trump Gaza song, once again we have the comparing of Trump to Jesus by saying that “Donald Trump will set you free.” It is yet another instance of blasphemy against Jesus Christ, for only He can set us free. While Trump did not create the video, he posted it on his Truth Social account, clearly taking no exception to the content of it.

In closing, as we ponder the abhorrent and blasphemous signs posted in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv that proclaimed Donald Trump as “DELIVERER,” I pray that the people who put the signs up, and those who saw them plastered in Israel, whether they saw them with their own eyes in Israel or through a computer or phone screen on the internet, would realize that Donald Trump is NOT the Deliverer and that Jesus Christ IS the DELIVERER. Let us read words of warning from the book of Jude, the next to the last book of the Bible, that remind us to be aware of deceivers, such as is Mike Evans:

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified [set apart] by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once [once for all] delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Jude 1-4)

“These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage [flattering people to gain advantage]. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of [by] the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves [cause divisions], sensual [wordly], having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 16-21)

Finally, let us read two more Scriptures reminding us that Jesus IS the true Deliverer of Israel:

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered [saved]: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance [salvation], as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” (Joel 2:32)

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits [opinion]; that blindness [hardening] in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion [Zion] the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” (Romans 11:25-27)
